Steve, this kind of nickel rocket bullshit is so typical of divers - jump
over a dollar to pick up a nickel. At the same time, your ignorance casts
Halcyon in a bad "light'.

The canister that Halcyon supplies with the nickel metal lights is bored
out of a solid rod of Delrin. The larger canister for the lead acid light is
made by fusing hdpe. The point of the delrin and hdpe canisters for the
lights is so that they are unbreakable.

When you nickel rockets "clone" the things we invent and make, you not
only are kidding yourselves, you are fucking over whomever else you involve
in this.

I can not tell you how many times I get some poor slob who thought he
bought a used "gavin" scooter come to me for help only to find out I never
made the thing. Halcyon gets the same routine.

I personally have extra canisters and packs for my Halcyon lights so I can
leave a set in Mexico as well as extra complete lights in case of a last
minute problem when diving in Florida, and I know they do not cost enough to
make it worth anyone's while to go make some bullshit copy.

You people are amazing - your petty little resentments run so deep that
you screw yourselves over to avoid getting the best, and then you copy every
last little thing we do while telling everyone we don't know what we are
doing.

We just made a small batch of PVC Helios clone canisters, and had
some leftover parts for making a 4.5 Ah which we decided it would be
fun to raffle off.

Kit consists of the canister tube, both fully machined ends, and a
bunch of odds and ends. Not included are the batteries, switch and
lighthead.

No purchase necessary. To enter, go to

Only one entry per person please.
