Exelent examples in your post.  I think one other notable posability exists
for bringing your gas with you.  If you mix your high He low O2 gas in your
first set of doubles then in your second set of doubles Double charge the
tanks with the O2 and He only.  After the first dive top the tanks and get
a second dive ( you will still have a good mix).  After the second dive
EMPTY your first set of doubles and thans fill the O2/He mix from the
second set.  When they reach the same pressure top them both with air and
you get 4 more dives by topping each set after the first dive on each set.
A total of 6 dives on the right gases!!

The ONLY complaint I have heard regarding Mix at 150' is "It's so damn cold
down there I could have used the air BUZZ to take the edge off".  This
alone should give you a clue why it is NOT a good idea to use air even at
150'.
